will Piggies make it to the cinema...?
It's certainly looking hopeful.
In July 2003, the Ministry of Fear division
of Little Bird (an excellent movie production company, which
co-produced Bridget Jones's Diaries among other things)
bought a movie option for Piggies.
This means they have the sole rights at present
to develop the novel into a full-scale movie. In April 2004
I got my hands on the movie script, and I've
written what I think of it in Nick's World. And early
in 2005 Little Bird renewed their option, so things are still
happening. As soon as there's any more news it will appear
here.

in the meantime
The print version of Piggies was published
in January 2003 and is available from Amazon,
other online booksellers and any bricks and mortar bookshop.
